Associate Medical Director, Pediatric Development Team
Johnson & Johnson
Associate Medical Director role supporting clinical development of pediatric immunology products across multiple therapeutic areas. Position involves strategic oversight of Phase 1-3 trials, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional leadership within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic clinical leadership and input to pediatric drug development initiatives
- Design, execute, and oversee Phase 1, 2, and 3 pediatric clinical trials
- Monitor trial safety and develop regulatory submissions including INDs, IBs, and BLAs
- Author manuscripts and abstracts based on clinical trial data for publication
- Build relationships with opinion leaders and external partners for product development
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics or pediatric subspecialty
- Pharmaceutical drug development or clinical research experience
- Ability to work effectively in matrix environments with cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and influence skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% annually
