Full-Time Salaried Event Sales Manager | Star Lanes Polaris | 8655 Lyra Drive | Columbus, OH 43240 Compensation & Benefits $50,000+ salary (commensurate with experience) Monthly Commission Typical First-Year Earnings: $60,000-$70,000 Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance PTO Major Holidays Off Free lunch daily Annual Employee Appreciation Event Growth & advancement opportunities Who We're Looking For Hospitality-minded with strong sales instincts Confident yet humble Organized and detail-oriented Positive, solution-focused attitude Comfortable networking and building relationships Not afraid to pick up the phone or visit a client in person Strong sense of urgency Team player willing to jump in where needed Someone who notices the details and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences Event Sales Manager Responsibilities Respond to event inquiries timely and build professional proposals Conduct venue tours Prospect local businesses and community organizations Rebook past clients Upsell event enhancements Attend networking events and community functions Represent Star Lanes Polaris at events such as RendeZOO, Fourth Friday, Oktoberfest, and other community activations Guide clients through the planning process Process deposits, payments, and final guest counts Coordinate event details with kitchen and operations teams Greet clients during tours and events Monitor competitors and identify growth opportunities Help create memorable experiences from inquiry through event execution Schedule Expectations Primarily Monday-Saturday with a weekday off provided Occasional evenings and early mornings required Networking and community events expected Preferred Qualifications Event sales experience highly preferred Hospitality, entertainment, hotel, venue, restaurant, or tourism experience preferred Tripleseat experience highly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously Star Lanes Polaris is an equal-opportunity employer.
