Head of Operations and Fulfillment Temp Position

Head of Operations & Fulfilment (Temp Position) Slip is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee our North American and European Operations & Fulfilment function during a leave period (9+ months). About the Role Reporting into Senior Vice President you will be responsible for leading the operational execution of our wholesale, dropship and eCommerce fulfilment across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe. You will lead a small but highly capable operations team while managing multiple third-party logistics providers, key retail partners and technology platforms. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and operational execution. Key Responsibilities Operations & Logistics Lead all operational and fulfilment activities across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Own relationships and performance of multiple third-party logistics providers (3PLs), ensuring service levels, productivity and inventory accuracy are achieved. Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs across all warehouse operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, efficiency and customer experience. Oversee inbound logistics, inventory management, outbound fulfilment and reverse logistics. Resolve complex operational issues and implement scalable solutions. Order Management & Customer Operations Oversee end‑to‑end B2B, Dropship and Wholesale order fulfilment across multiple sales channels. Ensure on‑going operational readiness for major retailers including department stores, specialty retailers and marketplace partners. Monitor order performance against retailer compliance requirements and investigate service failures, chargebacks and claims. Partner closely with Sales to ensure exceptional retail partner outcomes. Systems, Technology & Process Improvement Own operational systems including ERP, 3pl, EDI and inventory management platforms. Lead on‑going system implementations, upgrades and process improvements. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Work closely with Finance and Sales to improve reporting, integrations and data integrity. Champion best practice documentation, SOPs and operational governance. Inventory & Supply Chain Oversee inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations. Oversee stock investigations, inventory reconciliations and cycle count programs. Monitor inventory health and support forecasting, replenishment and allocation activities. Partner with Sales and Planning to minimize stock shortages and maximize service levels. Lead, coach and develop a team of two Operations Coordinators. Prioritize workload across multiple regions and ensure operational objectives are achieved. Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, Customer Service and external partners to support business growth. Lead operational components of new retailer launches, system implementations and strategic projects. Act as the operational escalation point for complex retailer and logistics issues. Skills & Experience Comfortable overseeing well‑established day‑to‑day operations while leading multiple business improvement projects and cross‑functional priorities in a fast‑paced environment. 8+ years experience in Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain leadership within consumer goods or beauty/luxury brands. Experience managing third‑party logistics providers across multiple regions. Strong understanding of wholesale, retail, dropship and eCommerce fulfilment. Experience implementing and managing ERP and EDI platforms. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr slip®
