Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that the therapeutic approach aligns with their unique backgrounds and needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to achieve specific treatment goals and enhance well-being.

• Manage clinical documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, within established timelines to ensure smooth operational workflows.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety strategies, and wellness plans that empower patients to maintain stable functioning and prevent relapse.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans in collaboration with patients to facilitate a smooth transition out of therapy.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state regulations, along with organizational policies and procedures, to maintain the highest legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultation meetings and agency discussions to share insights and best practices with fellow team members.

• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements to maintain certification and competence in your field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve diverse populations experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our telehealth services extend to individuals and families who may face barriers to accessing in-person care. You will work with patients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues, focusing on providing compassionate care while fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure is required.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Maryland, such as LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW-C.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering telehealth therapy services is highly desirable.

• Prior work with diverse patient populations and familiarity with culturally sensitive counseling practices is preferred.
