Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while maintaining a standard schedule. Our team operates primarily during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, providing a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' mood disorder symptoms to determine severity, frequency, and duration.
\n
• Collaboratively design and implement individualized treatment plans adjusted to target specific client objectives.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Continuously monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Work in concert with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic client care, ensuring all aspects of mental health and well-being are addressed.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices related to mood disorders to underpin treatment approaches with the latest evidence.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to continually advance your clinical expertise.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work to de-stigmatize mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and capability to collaborate with psychiatric professionals.

• A demonstrated history of effective interventions and positive outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to forge rapport with clients from all walks of life.
