Hope Again Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to enrich our team as a full-time remote outpatient therapist. Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on client needs. As a remote outpatient therapist, you will have access to modern telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions while also enjoying the collaborative dynamics of our outpatient office setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patients’ needs and inform their personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy with individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and help individuals address common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services in high-stress situations, guiding patients to safety and stability.

• Serve as a resource for patients, educating them on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be serving a diverse clientele experiencing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques, enabling effective intervention strategies.

• Exceptional abilities in conducting mental health assessments and developing actionable treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanor reflecting sound judgment and respect for ethical boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications to ensure effective documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

Minimum of two years of experience delivering individual and group therapy to varied populations is required. Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of collaboration in multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
