Overview Registered Nurse – PACU travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Perioperative/PACU unit (Phase I and Phase II recovery) on a 27-bed short-term acute teaching hospital unit. Start date: 08/17/2026. Assignment duration: weeks. Shift is 4x10-hour days on a block schedule with call. Weekly pay range: $2,101 to $2,190 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Location requirement: candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility. Active New York RN license in hand to submit. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Epic charting experience preferred. Mandatory phlebotomy competency and IV placement. Orientation: 16 hours. Scrubs provided (teal). Background checks reviewed case-by-case. Responsibilities - Provide postoperative care in PACU for Phase I and II recovery, including pediatrics through geriatrics - Monitor vitals, assess patient status, manage pain and hemodynamics, and address potential complications

• Demonstrate phlebotomy competency and start/maintain IV lines
• Perform airway management as needed; monitor MAC and PCA where applicable
• Document care and interventions in Epic with accurate, timely charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Radiology,

Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Transport, Unit Secretary) Requirements

• Active New York RN license in hand to submit
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Epic charting experience required or preferred
• Mandatory phlebotomy competency and IV placement skills
• Ability to work in a PACU/Phase I and II environment; comfortable with 3:1

patient ratios - Willing to live >75 miles from the facility; block schedule with call (weeknights and weekends) Benefits and Support
