Business Office Assistant This part‑time role supports community operations by assisting with billing, collections, payroll, and other administrative functions, providing excellent service to residents and team members. Position Highlights Status: Part Time Schedule: 2 days per week Location: 21 Clark Street Brooklyn NY 11201 Rate of Pay: $20.00 Responsibilities Assist with the preparation, distribution, and collection of monthly invoices and payments Support cash control processes, including depositing receipts, posting payments, and monitoring petty cash Maintain accurate resident billing and collection records, responding to resident inquiries with professionalism and care Compile information for weekly reports and assist with financial tracking systems Assist with payroll, employee benefits, new hire paperwork, and other human resources administrative processes as needed Support the preparation and maintenance of resident files, team member records, and community reports Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient office operations Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with computers and basic office software Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Strong communication and customer service skills for working with residents, families, and team members Benefits Competitive wages Early access to earned wages before payday Flexible scheduling options with full‑time and part‑time hours Paid time off and holidays (full‑time) Comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurances (full‑time) 401(k) with employer match Paid training Opportunities for growth and advancement Employee Assistance Program Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
