Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our state-of-the-art outpatient clinic, where collaboration and teamwork are emphasized. You will be surrounded by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. Our work schedule aligns with a Monday to Friday routine, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable work-life balance for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and patient goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, caring for one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized attention.
• Employ a variety of orthopedic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously using our EMR system, ensuring compliance and high standards of care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and measurable progress.
• Inspire and empower patients through education and motivation, helping them achieve their rehabilitation milestones.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and improve overall treatment efficacy.
• Actively promote a healthy lifestyle for patients by recommending fitness and wellness programs tailored to their unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This includes working with a wide range of demographics from active young adults to older adults in need of rehabilitative support. You will utilize your skills to address specific patient needs, focusing on outcomes that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold an active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, with a willingness to quickly adapt to documentation requirements.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a proven track record of successful patient rehabilitation.
• Experience in utilizing innovative and non-surgical approaches to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with patients and engage them in their treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
