Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting in-depth assessments to establish clients’ mental health needs and goals.

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to ensure effective care delivery.

• Providing referrals and connecting clients with additional resources, such as community services, support groups, or crisis intervention resources, tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to foster a supportive workplace culture and improve service delivery for all clients.

• Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health counseling and integrating new methodologies into practice.

• Adhering to ethical standards and fulfilling mandated reporting obligations professionally and competently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of individuals seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your role will be pivotal in promoting stability, recovery, and personal growth among clients, many of whom require specialized care and attention to navigate their unique circumstances effectively.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
\n
• At least two years of outpatient counseling experience, demonstrating a robust understanding of treatment modalities and client care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.

• Familiarity with an array of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n
