Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Centered Trauma Family Guidance, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that directly impact the lives of your clients. Key tasks include:

• Conducting psychotherapy and counseling sessions with individuals, groups, couples, and families, employing evidence-based practices to address mental health challenges.

• Interviewing clients to collect and interpret comprehensive social, personal, environmental, and medical histories that inform treatment plans.

• Evaluating clients' mental health needs and effectively treating issues within your scope of practice, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities.

• Coordinating programs and interventions tailored to meet clients' social and emotional needs, ensuring continuity of care.

• Facilitating cognitive and behavioral health interventions while managing short-term crises and making referrals to additional community resources as necessary.

• Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients to foster an environment of mutual respect and acceptance.

• Monitoring and documenting treatment progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate case records per established protocols.

• Managing a designated caseload, ensuring all client documentation and therapeutic notes are current and reflective of delivered services.

• Providing individual clinical counseling and contributing to broader treatment team efforts as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting clients undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance abuse. Many clients may also face co-occurring mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. It is imperative that the LCSW recognizes these complexities in treatment planning and intervention, employing a holistic approach that acknowledges the multifaceted nature of addiction and personal struggles.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical social work or a related field.
