Motion Physical Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Buffalo, New York. Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Buffalo, NY, which is designed to provide optimal therapeutic environments for our young clientele. Our collaborative workspace encourages team synergy, allowing healthcare professionals from various disciplines to work together effectively. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, giving you a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations for children, tailored to their unique needs and developmental stages.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and benchmarks for each patient.
• Regularly reassess clinical indicators and symptoms to evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjust methods, and modify goals as necessary.
• Complete all requisite documentation, including SOAP notes, progress summaries, and treatment plans, using our electronic health record system within designated timelines.
• Educate patients and caregivers about the recovery process, setting realistic expectations for challenges they might encounter.
• Meet operational utilization targets and contribute to other business objectives as required to enhance service efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members within Ensemble Therapy for patients who utilize multiple services, ensuring holistic care.
• Act as a cultural ambassador for Motion Physical Therapy, advocating for the company's values while contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on pediatric patients from diverse backgrounds, including various age groups, races, and ethnicities. The ability to engage with children and their families is crucial, as you will be instrumental in guiding them through their therapeutic journeys. You will assess a wide range of conditions, from developmental delays to post-operative rehabilitation needs, making your role highly impactful in improving their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; preference may be given to candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and unrestricted state license to practice Physical Therapy in New York.
• Willingness to conduct therapy sessions both in-person and via telehealth as needed, accommodating real-time patient needs and clinical appropriateness.
• A strong desire and capability to work with a wide range of pediatric patients and their families, demonstrating cultural competency.
• Flexibility and adaptability to manage the dynamic nature of healthcare delivery in the current climate.
• A collaborative spirit, with a focus on teamwork and excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in pediatric Physical Therapy is preferred, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong salary, our benefits package includes:
