Work Environment

Located in Cape Coral, Florida, our rehabilitation center provides an onsite work setting where you will collaborate closely with a diverse interdisciplinary team. You can expect flexible working hours with a standard weekly commitment of 40 hours, including variable weekends. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' conditions, considering physical, emotional, and social factors.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans that focus on the individual needs of each patient.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare providers regarding patients' progress and continuity of care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and billing for services rendered.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including PTAs and aides, to ensure high standards of care and professional development.
• Engage in leadership activities such as community outreach, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient care and discharge planning.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education to stay current on best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist at Amedisys, you will work closely with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients, each presenting unique challenges and recovery goals. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
