Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs leveraging research-driven methodologies tailored to each patient's specific conditions and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, ensuring integrated treatment efforts to maximize patient outcomes.
• Deliver excellent customer service, fostering trust and rapport with patients and their families.
• Educationally empower patients and their caregivers through effective consultations, enhancing their understanding of recovery processes and promoting adherence to treatment protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress in alignment with the physician's plan of care, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to reflect patient improvement.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals while contributing to overall clinic performance objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in computer systems to manage patient records and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience
