Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Hype Motion, you will take ownership of various tasks that contribute to both patient care and clinical excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients, including a detailed review of medical histories, physical assessments, and the implementation of individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and modify treatment protocols as necessary, ensuring each patient receives optimal care tailored to their evolving needs.
• Providing hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to assist in patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and professional manner.
• Completing discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring patients understand their rehabilitation objectives and receive the ongoing support necessary for lasting recovery.
• Participating actively in facility meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy and contribute to the development of best practices across the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. Your expertise will guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing pain management, mobility restoration, and enhancing overall physical function. Engaging with patients and their families with open communication will be essential, fostering a trusting and collaborative relationship.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is preferred, reflecting advanced knowledge in the field.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida, as required by state regulations.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association, ensuring readiness to respond to emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits
