Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our modern rehabilitation center, where you will engage with patients directly in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources that enable effective treatment planning and delivery. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while ensuring you can make a significant impact in your patients' recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill patients' rehabilitation needs while setting achievable goals for recovery.
• Maintain an efficient patient schedule of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes, ensuring techniques are evidence-based and effective.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Educate patients on the importance of active participation in their rehabilitation process, encouraging adherence to custom fitness and wellness programs.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain precise documentation of all services rendered.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize recovery pathways for patients.
• Promote healthy living through prescribed exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment alternatives and minimize the reliance on pharmaceuticals by providing holistic care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Flex and Flow of Motion Therapeutics, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation following surgery or injury. Our clientele includes a variety of ages and backgrounds, with diverse goals ranging from pain relief to enhanced physical performance. Your efforts will be integral in helping patients regain their independence and improve their daily functioning.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both manual therapy techniques and in designing tailored exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, equipping you with the knowledge necessary to effectively treat a range of musculoskeletal disorders.
• A background in developing and implementing innovative fitness and rehabilitation programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
