As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our comprehensive rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and improving the client's physical function.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using diagnostic tools, including assessments of muscle strength, nerve function, joint mobility, and overall functional performance.
• Providing hands-on manual therapeutic exercises while also instructing clients on therapeutic and non-manual exercises tailored to their individual needs.
• Administering a variety of treatments including traction, massage, and physical modalities designed to enhance recovery.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, advising on modifications, and coordinating closely with physicians for optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on patients with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will support a diverse client base, including older adults requiring geriatric care, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and individuals needing rehabilitation after accidents. Your expertise will significantly influence their recovery journey, helping them regain mobility and function in their daily lives.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree such as a Master's or Doctorate from an accredited program.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience in physical therapy settings, particularly in orthopedics, geriatrics, or outpatient care.
• Proficiency in orthopedic assessment techniques and patient care planning.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems for efficient documentation and tracking of patient progress.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in advanced orthopedic rehabilitation techniques or specialty certifications in areas like manual therapy will be considered favorably. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and commitment to continuous professional development will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
