Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient's physical capabilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices to enhance patients' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities tailored to each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team to design comprehensive care strategies that optimize physical health and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and health maintenance techniques.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your approach will address each patient's specific needs, ensuring that their rehabilitation journey is tailored to their personal goals and physical capabilities. You will also have the opportunity to work with the geriatric population, which requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the particular challenges faced by older adults.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
