Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatments according to the established plans of care, with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Performing comprehensive evaluations of clients' capabilities through diagnostic measures and functional abilities assessments.
• Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure they execute treatment protocols in compliance with our standards.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual exercises, traction, and massage therapies, to improve patient mobility and function.
• Evaluating home environments and recommending modifications that enhance rehabilitation and independence.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, to ensure optimal continuity of care.
• Providing guidance and education to clients and families about physical therapy techniques and equipment use for better compliance and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role encompasses working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, traumatic injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who have:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid PT license in the state of Florida.
• A strong foundation in physical therapy principles, with a keen understanding of functional assessments and therapeutic protocols.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and emergency responsiveness.
• A valid driver's license with automobile insurance, as travel may be necessary for home visits.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience is required, we particularly value candidates with experience in both acute care and home care settings. A history of enhancing patient engagement and demonstrating clinical leadership will be significant assets.

Compensation and Benefits

Kaiser Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary that ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package.
