Thriving Journey Therapy, PLLC is actively looking for a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic and experienced team in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. In this full-time onsite role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality physical therapy services tailored to the needs of our diverse patient population. Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, located in picturesque Fort Myers Beach, is designed to facilitate optimal healing and recovery. The facility features modern equipment, private treatment rooms, and open exercise areas. You will work in an onsite setting, maintaining a manageable caseload that allows for personalized attention and quality interaction with each patient. Our clinic operates with a core schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of each patient's physical abilities, medical history, and specific functional goals.
• Conducting thorough assessments utilizing diagnostic and prognostic testing to gauge muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Administering manual therapy techniques and guiding patients through therapeutic exercises that promote healing, improve mobility, and strengthen muscle groups.
• Collaborating with physicians and other health professionals to recommend, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices when necessary.
• Motivating patients through their rehabilitation journey, providing education on injury prevention, and home exercise programs designed to optimize functional outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily support a diverse clientele with orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will encounter patients of various ages, including active seniors and those recovering from sports injuries. Your ability to build rapport and develop individualized care strategies for each patient will be essential in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, acute care, or geriatric settings.
• Strong skills in orthopedic assessments, treatment planning, patient care documentation, and utilization of electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience

While not required, preferences will be given to candidates who have:

• Specialized training or certification in manual therapy techniques or a related field.
• Experience with telehealth services and familiarity with virtual patient care environments.
• Advanced knowledge of therapeutic modalities and innovative rehabilitation approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual compensation package ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
