Work Environment

This role is situated in our modern outpatient office, where you will work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional variable weekends. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to understand their needs and limitations.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress, and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding conditions and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to optimize care coordination and follow-up.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives to promote physical therapy and rehabilitation services.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and billing information in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing orthopedic conditions ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will engage with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to accommodate cultural differences and diverse needs. You will also work closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure effective transition and continuity of care throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and word processing software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, ideally in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
