Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, subsequently developing personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including exercise therapy, manual techniques, and advanced equipment to enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Deliver high-quality one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring each treatment is tailored to meet individual patient needs and therapeutic goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment responses, and reassess goals at regular intervals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Advise on and fit patients for assistive devices like walkers, canes, and braces, providing essential training to maximize the effectiveness of these tools.
• Conduct educational sessions for patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members to foster understanding of therapeutic exercises and proper techniques.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy by participating in workshops, continuing education, and networking with professional peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your responsibilities will primarily involve working with diverse populations, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for recovery. You will be instrumental in treating conditions related to post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports injuries, among others. The focus is not only on recovery but also on enhancing the overall quality of life for our patients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and basic office software.
• A flexible and agile approach to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment environments.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation, is preferred.
• Experience with specialized therapy techniques such as aquatic therapy or sports rehabilitation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
