Technical Sales Engineer

About The Job We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to own a territory spanning North Carolina to Florida and Tennessee to Mississippi, build lasting relationships with a technically sophisticated customer base, and drive revenue growth. This is a chance to be a key player in a small, fast-moving company where your work is visible, your input matters, and you're not just a number in a huge sales organization. Company designs and manufactures critical electronic test equipment used by companies that manufacture, service, and repair electric motors and generators for diagnostic and QA purposes. They are also used for reliability and maintenance testing by major companies in wind power, electric vehicle, aerospace, defense, pulp & paper and many other industries. What You’ll Do Own sales targets for your territory and develop plans to reach and exceed them Identify and develop growth opportunities across the region Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients Become the go-to expert on company's testing and diagnostic solutions Deliver impactful hands-on product demos, technical support, and training, both on-site and on-line Keep organized, up-to-date records of your sales activities in our CRM Bring client feedback and evolving needs back to the team to help us keep improving Track and report industry trends and competitor information Represent company at industry conferences and trade shows What You Bring A track record of success in industrial sales of technical capital equipment A history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, backed by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Capability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and willingness to travel regularly Solid skills with CRM software and Microsoft Office and experience using AI tools in your workflow A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (preferred), or a business degree paired with relevant industry experience Compensation & Logistics Work from our Longmont, CO factory, or a hybrid mix Territory: South-East US (North Carolina to Florida and Tennessee to Mississippi) Expected travel roughly 30%-40% of the time Why Real impact: you'll see your contributions shape outcomes in a growing company A team culture built on ownership and accountability: we own outcomes, skip the finger-pointing, and speak up early to keep each other and the company moving forward A company driven by innovation and genuine commitment to unequaled customer support A reputation for the best instruments on the market and the best customer support #J-18808-Ljbffr W3Global
