This remote position allows professionals the flexibility to manage their work-life balance efficiently while providing excellent therapeutic services from the comfort of their homes. Our virtual facilities utilize state-of-the-art telehealth technologies, ensuring your daily interactions with clients are seamless and effective. Operating Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we uphold a structured yet supportive work schedule that aligns well with your personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate and diagnose clients' mental health issues, specifically focusing on mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address their unique concerns and goals, adapting strategies based on client feedback and progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate healing and improve client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and coping strategies while fostering an environment of openness and support.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to care plans to optimize effectiveness and outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health care providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care, promoting comprehensive well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge base in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Actively advocate for mental health awareness and the de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community, representing the values of our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse population of clients dealing with mood disorders. Our patients come from various backgrounds and they often present with complex psychological profiles that require sensitive and tailored therapeutic approaches. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for clients to explore their feelings and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for treating mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT.

• Prior experience in a similar therapeutic role with a demonstrated success in achieving positive client outcomes.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with a team of healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
