Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and related health histories to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment regimens employing various methodologies such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modality use (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about individual treatment plans, guiding them on proper techniques for exercises, use of assistive devices, and precautionary measures during recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.
• Participate in case reviews with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive care strategies and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training programs to maintain licensure and stay current with latest practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes children and adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including word processing and electronic medical record systems.
