Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Transform the school experience for students as a dedicated Physical Therapist supporting a welcoming district near Hope Mills, NC. This contract opportunity runs full-time from August 13, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with consistent hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours weekly. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students reach their physical development goals and ensure they can access their education to the fullest.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license (required)
• Prior experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with implementing IEPs, conducting PT evaluations, and monitoring student progress
• Knowledge of classroom assistive equipment and mobility supports
• Experience supervising at least one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Training or experience with TPBA PreK assessments considered a valuable advantage
• Ability to work onsite; remote or hybrid options are not available for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy to students, helping them achieve their IEP goals in a supportive setting
• Conduct evaluations and write comprehensive reports, including IEPs, LMNs, and progress documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support each child’s development plan
• Monitor and document student progress, making recommendations for program modifications as needed
• Supervise and mentor at least one PTA to ensure quality of services
• Provide insights and training to staff regarding classroom equipment use
