Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract role runs from August 13, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with weekday hours of 8am to 3:30pm, totaling 35 hours each week. You’ll work onsite exclusively and collaborate closely with educators and other clinicians to help students reach their physical development goals.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Valid current license as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
• Ability to provide treatment services, conduct evaluations, and write IEPs, LMNs, and progress reports
• Familiarity with classroom/school-based equipment
• Comfortable supervising at least one PTA
• Training in TPBA PreK assessments is highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to supporting a diverse student population

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct PT services in accordance with student IEPs
• Conduct thorough assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
• Complete required documentation, including progress monitoring and treatment plans
• Supervise PTAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer input on classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment needs
• Engage with families and educators to promote student success
• Maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations regarding school-based therapy
