Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with students near Fort Bragg, NC for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you’ll make a difference by helping students achieve their fullest physical potential, collaborating closely with educational staff, and supporting a positive, inclusive school environment. The position operates on a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, with a total of 35 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, current license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
• Ability to provide treatment services, conduct thorough evaluations, and develop IEPs, LMNs, and monitor progress
• Comfortable supervising at least one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Familiarity with classroom equipment to ensure student safety and accessibility
• Training in TPBA PreK assessments considered a valuable asset
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset for working with educators, families, and colleagues
• Available for onsite work only

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy to students according to their educational plans
• Complete detailed assessments, documentation, and participate in the IEP process
• Supervise and mentor PTAs within the district
• Partner with teachers and staff to optimize student access in the classroom setting
• Assess and recommend classroom equipment to promote inclusion
• Support data collection and progress monitoring to ensure effective interventions
