Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' eating disorder symptoms, mental health conditions, and treatment requirements through structured interviews and validated assessment tools.

• Craft tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, guiding clients in goal-setting that leads to achievable recovery milestones.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy methodologies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate effective client progress.

• Lead therapy sessions focused on addressing distorted perceptions surrounding body image, food, and self-worth, providing a safe space for exploration and healing.

• Foster the development of adaptive coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and skills to resist disordered eating patterns.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences to ensure cohesive treatment planning and continuity of care.

This role will focus on a diverse client population, particularly individuals experiencing eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Our holistic approach ensures that all co-occurring mental health conditions are treated alongside eating disorders, providing comprehensive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of practice.

• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies pertinent to eating disorders, particularly CBT, DBT, and ACT.
