Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Owensboro Mental & Health Wellness Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging therapy sessions where young adults can connect, share experiences, and support one another in a safe and constructive environment.

• Individual Therapy: Deliver empathetic counseling to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors effectively. You will assist them in developing personalized coping strategies and concrete action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific goals, addressing their unique needs and preferences.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and provide feedback to continuously improve the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring coordinated care through regular communication and case consultations, thereby enhancing overall client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, and your role will be crucial in providing them with the tools and support necessary for recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A valid and current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
