Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental and emotional health needs by utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that draw on evidence-based therapeutic techniques, targeting specific issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

• Provide regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, focusing on providing clients with tools and coping strategies for overcoming their mental health challenges.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients requiring a multidisciplinary approach.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain consistency in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including adults, young adults, and possibly families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients often seek help for conditions such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. The ability to approach each case with cultural humility and sensitivity is paramount in order to build trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; a master’s degree strongly preferred.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based interventions and therapeutic approaches.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and various computer applications for documentation and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
