Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at Valley Point Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a dedicated caseload of clients, establishing strong therapeutic relationships anchored in respect and professionalism.

• Conducting regular sessions to evaluate client progress, assess stability, and determine appropriate discharge readiness.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring clinical integrity and compliance with organizational policies.

• Performing intake assessments to gather vital background information and establish initial treatment paths.
\n
• Engaging in weekly individual therapy sessions, aiding clients in navigating their emotional and psychological challenges.

• Participating in regular supervision for professional development and support.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to deliver holistic care solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth clients, many of whom experience complex mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and behavioral issues. You will work closely with adolescents and their families, guiding them through evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving their overall well-being and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas.

• Capability of meeting internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
