Work Environment\n

This position allows for a fully remote working setup, leveraging telehealth technology to reach patients effectively. You will collaborate closely with other mental health professionals and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care, all within a supportive and collaborative virtual environment. Work hours are structured to maintain a healthy work-life balance, running Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using standardized measurement tools and personal interviews.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, preferences, and behavioral health challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat mood disorders and facilitate client progress.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to be involved in their recovery.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
\n
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clients, ensuring that all aspects of their mental health needs are addressed.

• Stay current with developments in the mental health field, integrating new research into practice to improve treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of sessions and treatment plans, strictly adhering to ethical and legal documentation requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and align with best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will support a diverse range of clients, each presenting unique challenges and personal backgrounds, all of whom will benefit from your guidance and expertise in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities applicable to mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the capability to collaborate with psychiatry professionals for effective patient outcomes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong empathy and understanding for clients in crisis.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
