Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate each client’s substance abuse history, mental health, and treatment requirements. These evaluations inform individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment strategies that address addiction, co-occurring disorders, and other underlying mental health issues.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to empower clients in their recovery process.

• Lead group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for shared experiences, skill-building, and peer support.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic care coordination, sharing insights and progress on client cases to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive education and support to clients' families, encouraging their active involvement in the recovery journey and enhancing relational dynamics.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines, utilizing appropriate software for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and confront unique life circumstances contributing to their addiction. The therapist's role is to cultivate trust and rapport, offering personalized support to each client as they navigate their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Massachusetts.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Strong foundational knowledge in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment protocols.
