Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews and assessments, documenting case history from the first consultation to treatment completion.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adapting intervention strategies as necessary to align with treatment objectives and client goals.
\n
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Assist clients in managing referrals to other specialists and services when additional support is required.
\n
• Educate families and primary caregivers on strategies to address mental health challenges and support their loved ones through recovery.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to help clients overcome these obstacles effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater to a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients who may be dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance abuse concerns, providing them with the support they need to navigate their personal journeys toward better mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Successful completion and passing scores on national examinations such as the NCE or NCMHCE.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting, particularly within an outpatient framework.

• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A solid understanding of various co-occurring disorders, including addiction and underlying health conditions.

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and colleagues alike.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that reflect a compassionate and empathetic nature toward clients' challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a generous sign-on bonus.
