Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' emotional and social needs, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Provide psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions to children, adults, and families struggling with emotional and behavioral issues, especially related to substance use.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in the AWARDS electronic health record system.
\n
• Collaborate with allied healthcare professionals and family members to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay abreast of best practices and emerging therapies relevant to our client population.
\n
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for interns and trainees to foster professional development and adherence to agency policies.
\n
• Manage intern recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations to develop future clinical talent within the agency.
\n
• Maintain a high level of compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards, as well as agency policies.
\n
• Actively participate in quality assurance audits to ensure that all documentation meets required standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a wide demographic, including individuals navigating the complexities of substance use disorders alongside emotional challenges. The primary focus is on providing therapeutic support to vulnerable populations, including families, teenagers, and adults in varying stages of recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
