Soul Collective Clinic is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated School Mental Health Team. Work Environment\n

This role involves working in a remote capacity while collaborating directly with the school community. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive mental health service coverage. On-call availability during crises may also be required. This dynamic setting allows you to engage with diverse student populations and be an integral part of an enthusiastic mental health team dedicated to improving student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of students, analyzing their personal histories, current issues, and potential risk factors.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, focusing on addressing their mental health challenges and enhancing their emotional resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care tailored to the unique experiences of each student.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at nurturing personal development, fostering emotional stability, and promoting effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in collaborative practice with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to deliver integrated care that addresses the full spectrum of mental health issues.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and facilitating referrals to more intensive care as necessary.

• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families, enabling them to better understand mental health challenges, treatment options, and available resources.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid LCSW licensure in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within a mental health or educational context.
