Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized therapy strategies based on comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs.

• Conduct therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused short therapy techniques.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clients, ensuring their diverse needs are met efficiently and thoughtfully.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment and counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will serve clients who often have limited access to care, thus playing a crucial role in their mental health journey by providing the understanding, support, and therapeutic interventions they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment where you have honed your skills in client assessment and therapy.

• A strong foundation in ethical guidelines and legal standards relevant to counseling practice.
