Work Environment

You will work onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation center in Alexandria, Virginia, which is designed to foster a collaborative and patient-centered atmosphere. Our facility boasts the latest technology in physical therapy and rehabilitation, ensuring you have access to the tools needed to provide excellent care. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to tailor treatment plans aligned with their individual health goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring a manageable caseload that allows for meaningful patient interactions and high-quality care delivery.
• Utilize various physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to promote recovery and improve mobility.
• Design comprehensive care plans that incorporate specific rehabilitation strategies catered to each patient's unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor treatment progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, pain management, and wellness, fostering a proactive approach to health.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care and discuss ongoing treatment strategies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient encounters and progress in accordance with organizational protocols, using EMR software effectively.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with emerging physical therapy techniques and best practices.

This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population seeking outpatient rehabilitation support, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, and patients experiencing mobility challenges due to chronic conditions. Your expertise will guide these patients through tailored rehabilitation programs, empowering them to achieve their health and fitness ambitions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• Proven expertise in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, preferably in a clinic setting.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a strong ability to design effective exercise regimens.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Commitment to professional growth and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in outpatient settings, particularly those familiar with sports medicine protocols and rehabilitation practices. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or methodologies are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Main Line Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
