Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting with a focus on Neuro/Stroke patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
• Float between PCU units as operationally required, including potential on-call assignments
• Complete required learning modules prior to and during the assignment to maintain compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Neuro/Stroke patient populations
• Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
