Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from a comfortable environment, whether at home or from our outpatient office in Fountain Valley, California. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling as needed to accommodate patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging and effective therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families in both remote and outpatient settings.

• Perform thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that promote positive change.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to support clients in reaching their mental health goals.

• Engage in collaborative case discussions with other team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to create cohesive treatment strategies.

• Document client progress meticulously and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Covenant Wellness, you will work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and grief. Our clients range from adolescents to seniors, all requiring tailored approaches to their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical mental health services, demonstrating proficiency in diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits\n
