Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and clinical evaluations for clients to establish effective treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.

• Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, couples, and families via virtual platforms, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for open dialogue.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of progress notes and treatment updates to guarantee compliance with departmental standards and support continuity of care.

• Monitor client progress toward therapeutic goals, advocating for necessary adjustments in treatment strategies based on observed behaviors and feedback.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies during emergencies, promptly reporting significant changes in client behavior or emotional state to the appropriate team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing an array of mental health challenges. You will address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship conflicts and trauma recovery. Your role is pivotal in guiding these clients through their therapies via effective communication and personalized care. You will also help to normalize and destigmatize mental health struggles, promoting a healthier community overall.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current independent licensure as a mental health professional in California, including LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate client progress and design effective treatment plans.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an empathetic demeanor and cultural competency to connect with diverse patient backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
