You will work alongside a cross-functional team consisting of Team Leaders, an Area Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and a Production Planner.**This is a 1st shift role****Your role:*** Inspects the product by conducting thorough quality checks according to specified instructions, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards throughout the production process.* Reports any disruptions or deviations in the production process to the Manufacturing group leader, facilitating swift resolution and minimizing operational disruptions.* Adheres to the compliance of components, parts, and documents with quality specifications before advancing to subsequent stages of the process, ensuring product integrity and quality assurance.* Proposes and implements improvements aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, and the overall work environment, contributing to continuous enhancement in operational efficiency.* Operates and oversees all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment within the manufacturing group, executing standard and complex production tasks in strict accordance with instructions.* Sets up and adjusts equipment in alignment with manufacturing and R&D specifications for Pilot runs, ensuring accurate testing and validation of production processes.* Monitors output quality diligently, promptly identifying and addressing any instances of faulty products, while maintaining meticulous records of daily production activities and pilot runs for performance analysis.* Ensures effective communication and collaboration within the team, maintaining positive working relationships with supervisors and coworkers, and job training* Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to facilitate the startup of new product generations, even in the absence of established process criteria and conditions.**You're the right fit if:*** You have a High School Diploma, Vocational training, or equivalent education.* You have experience in manufacturing environments in areas such as welding, assembly, or mechanic. Having experience leading teams with up to 20 people is preferred.* You’re a critical thinker who takes ownership, makes decisions with confidence, and thrives in a dynamic environment.* The ability to work mandatory overtime is an essential function of this role. Overtime work can include Saturdays and 10-hour shifts.* You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.**How we work together**We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
