Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of elderly patients, providing insightful analyses that consider cognitive, social, and physical health factors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is the geriatric population, many of whom may be dealing with complex mental health issues due to the aging process, including late-life depression, anxiety disorders, and cognitive impairments like those found in dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. As a therapist in our clinic, you will have the responsibility of understanding the unique psychological and emotional needs of our elderly clients and adapting therapeutic interventions accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly working with older adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
