Remote Payment Posting Specialist

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Payment Posting Specialist will perform payment application functions for customers, including manual and electronic payment entry, deposit verification, daily reconciliation, and posting payment corrections. Key responsibilities Perform manual and electronic payment entry and deposit verification Conduct daily reconciliation and investigate variances in payment postings Post payment corrections as needed to ensure accurate financial records Required qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of medical or healthcare-related payment entry experience or equivalent accounting experience High School Diploma or GED is required Thorough understanding of Windows operating system environments and Office tools, particularly Word and Excel Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology is preferred Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from a payer is preferred
