This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering speech and language support in a vibrant, student-centered environment. Assignments are typically focused at one primary school, with occasional floating to a nearby campus. Preference is given to candidates living in or near the area for optimal placement.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid professional license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience in a school-based SLPA role is strongly preferred
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (37.5 per week); part-time (approx. 30 hours weekly) may be considered
• Current state fingerprinting and background check clearance required
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 80–90 students, with occasional peaks up to 100
• Experience supporting elementary-age children in educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language intervention services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Administer exercises, document sessions, and collaborate with the educational team
• Support and track student progress in accordance with IEP goals
• Occasionally float to a second school if needed, always within reasonable proximity
• Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and teachers to ensure effective service delivery
