Step into a rewarding, school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant opportunity supporting elementary students in a thriving educational environment near Richmond, TX. This full-time contract position begins August 11, 2026, and extends through May 26, 2027, with some flexibility for candidates preferring part-time hours (approximately 30 hours per week).

As an SLPA, you'll primarily serve one elementary campus (with the possibility of floating to a second), helping a diverse caseload of 80–90 students, peaking to 100 at busy times. Your work will make a meaningful difference, closely collaborating with school staff, students, and families to enhance communication outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, valid SLPA license required
• Eligible for and able to complete state fingerprinting and background check prior to start
• Experience supporting school-aged children as an SLPA in a school setting preferred
• Adaptable and organized, capable of managing a fluctuating caseload
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in school districts—please be prepared to disclose any prior employment or termination history within schools, as completion of an affidavit is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services under SLP supervision
• Implement IEP goals and assist with progress monitoring and documentation
• Utilize evidence-based interventions with elementary students
• Maintain precise, timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to best support student development
