Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting students in the southwest Houston area, providing speech-language services in a dynamic educational environment. This opportunity centers on serving middle and high school populations (grades 6–8 or 10–12), with flexibility based on your preferences and ZIP code.

Your expertise will be essential as you deliver a full scope of SLP responsibilities—ranging from direct therapy to ARD participation and comprehensive assessments. The caseload is manageable, averaging between 50 and 60 students. You’ll have the chance to contribute meaningfully in one or several schools, cultivating positive, lasting relationships with both students and staff during the academic year, from August 2026 to May 2027.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure for the state of Texas and Florida (please provide license image)
• Experience in educational settings and familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ARDs
• Comfortable working with adolescents in grades 6–12
• Willingness to complete relevant district fingerprinting requirements (may be waived if already on file)

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to assigned students in middle or high school settings
• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and contribute to ARD meetings
• Maintain clear records and communicate progress with staff and families
• Manage a caseload of 50–60 students, ensuring individualized support
