Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate closely with other healthcare providers. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and fulfill the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize your prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to administer effective, cost-efficient therapies that improve patient outcomes.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, catering to the unique needs of each patient.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health by proposing non-surgical alternatives and minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Communicate effectively with patients throughout the treatment process to optimize their functionality and motivation.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document all services provided accurately, maintaining clear and thorough records for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with diverse populations, ranging from young athletes to elderly patients, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs, goals, and physical abilities of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida without any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in creating effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage patients throughout the treatment process.

Compensation and Benefits
