Senior Account Manager

Job TitleJob DutiesSupport Account Executive and Producer in servicing assigned book of benefits accounts, as well as manage certain benefits accounts autonomouslyProvide customer service for assigned accounts, which includes handling daily emails and phone calls from clients, vendors, and other team membersBuild and maintain client relationshipsMaintain electronic filing and required data in Benefit Point (agency management system)Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of HUB products and services when appropriate for the clients' needsBe knowledgeable of changes in the insurance industry; and regularly attend industry events, seminars, or conferencesAct as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated service issuesManage, organize, and conduct client meetings when necessaryMarket renewals as requiredParticipate or assist in the new business processPrepare, print, and, in some cases, deliver communication material to clientsReview contracts, plan documents, and plan summaries for accuracyPrepare benchmark reportingAssist team members with compliance materials, including 5500s, wrap documents, and ACA reporting documentsAssist clients with claims, billing, and other day to day service issuesQualifications5+ years of experience within employee benefits, human resources, or a related fieldHigh school diploma required, college degree preferredProficiency in MS OfficeExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsHigh attention to detail essentialProven ability to work independently and take leadership on accountsProven ability to support new business developmentProficiency presenting to clients and their employeesLife, Accident, and Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within three months of employment)Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
